In her interview to the CNBC TV Channel the Chief of the Presidential Experts' Directorate and the Russian G20 Sherpa Ksenia Yudaeva admitted, that "the issue of currency wars, at the end of the day, comes down to transparency and trust. It is the matter of coordinated monetary policies of 20 different countries, which is very important in terms of market stability, fostering growth and investment."
She also dwelled on the challenges currently faced by Russia: "These challenges are the same as for most of the world - first and foremost, growth slowdown. Russia needs to find a new model of growth. This is why on the official agenda of the G20 we put investment as a major topic. Russia is interested in boosting investments, which are needed for economy diversification and switching from reliance on oil and gas."
