In the year of its G20 Presidency Russia attaches particular emphasis to active cooperation with various external partners, which are not directly involved in the work of the G20, engaging different outreach formats. Within the framework of the outreach dialogue Chief of the Presidential Experts' Directorate and the Russian G20 Sherpa Ksenia Yudaeva held a series of meetings with the representatives of international organizations and associations during her visit to Europe.
On March 25, 2013 a special meeting of the Russian G20 Sherpa and members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Council was held in Paris. The Russian Presidency priorities, as well as cooperation of the OECD and the G20, were discussed at the meeting. The meeting was followed with a seminar devoted to the OECD input to the G20 work, with a special address by Ksenia Yudaeva to the delegates from 34 OECD member-countries and representatives of the G20 countries, which are not OECD members.
While in Paris Ms. Yudaeva also held consultations with Abdou Diouf, Secretary General of the International organization of francophone countries (Francophonie) within the framework of the traditional G20 dialogue with Francophonie.
On March 26, Ms. Yudaeva discussed in Geneva the working agenda of the Russian Presidency with the representatives of the WTO and the European UN Office. The meeting allowed for a productive sharing of opinions with Director General of the UN Office in Geneva Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, Deputy Secretary General of the UNCTAD Petko Draganov, Deputy Executive Director of the UNAIDS Luiz Loures and Chief of the WTO Director General's cabinet and the WTO Sherpa Arancha Gonzales. There was also held consultations with the Swiss G20 Sherpa Didier Shambovey.
On March 27 Ksenia Yudaeva discussed the most pressing issues of global economy and tasks of Russian G20 Presidency with the Netherlands Finance Minister, Chair of the Eurogroup Jeroen Dijsselbloem, and his Deputy, the Netherlands G20 Sherpa Richard van Zwol, at their meeting in Hague. There was also held a meeting with Princess Maxima of the Netherlands - Special Advocate of the UN Secretary General for Inclusive Finance for Development and Honorary Patron of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion. In the course of the meeting the G20 development agenda was discussed, as well as the issues of financial inclusion and enhancing financial literacy, including of the populations of the least developed countries and among the vulnerable groups.
In April Ksenia Yudaeva will proceed with her working meetings program in Asia and North America.
