International Media Centre opens in St.Petersburg
The International Media Centre (IMC) of the G20 Summit has opened on the territory of the State Congress Centre in St.Petersburg.
The IMC will be open for accredited journalists around-the-clock from 12.00, September 4 until 12.00, September 7. The IMC has free Wi-Fi access. All IMC phones have free long-distance and international access.
The information desks located in the Exhibition Pavilion and Media Pavilion will provide all the necessary information on the IMC, summit events and any assistance.
To help journalists keep track of summit events, all IMC pavilions are equipped with information channel monitors that will broadcast the information program of the internal information channel.
The IMC has 5 briefing rooms. All rooms are equipped with professional lighting and audio capability; equipment for simultaneous interpretation is also available. From September 4 to September 6 the IMC will host a number of press briefings of the Russian and foreign G20 Sherpas, as well as government officials, representatives of the business community and experts. Invited speakers will cover the key issues discussed at the G20 Leaders' Summit.
